ඇන්ඩර්සන් විශ්‍රාම ගැනීමේ දිනය නිවේදනය කරයි

එංගලන්ත සුපිරි වේග පන්දු යවන ක්‍රීඩක ජේම්ස් ඇන්ඩර්සන් ජාත්‍යන්තර ක්‍රිකට් පිටියෙන් විශ්‍රාම ගැනීමට තීරණය කර තිබෙනවා.

ඒ අනුව ජූලි 10 වැනිදා බටහිර ඉන්දීය කොදෙව් කණ්ඩායමට එරෙහිව ලෝඩ්ස් ක්‍රීඩාංගනයේ දී ආරම්භ වන පළමු ටෙස්ට් තරගයෙන් පසුව තමන් විශ්‍රාම ගන්නා බවයි ඔහු සදහන් කළේ.

සමාජ මාධ්‍ය වෙත සටහනක් එක් කරමින් ඇන්ඩර්සන් මේ බව නිවේදනය කළා.

2003 වසරේ මැයි මාසයේ දී ටෙස්ට් වරම් හිමි කර ගත් ඇන්ඩර්සන් ටෙස්ට් ඉතිහාසයේ දී කඩුලු 700 ක් දවා ගත් ලොව පළමු වේග පන්දු යවන්නා බවට මෙම වසර මුලදී පත් වුණේ ඉන්දියාවට එරෙහි පස්වැනි ටෙස්ට් තරගයේ දී යි.

41 හැවිරිදි ඔහු මේ වන විට ටෙස්ට් තරග 187 කදී බිද හෙලා ඇති කඩුලු ගණන 700 ක් වන අතර, ඒ අනුව ඔහුට ලොව වැඩිම ටෙස්ට් කඩුලුලාභීන් අතර දෙවැනි ස්ථානයේ පසුවන ශේන් වෝර්න් අභිබවා යාමට තවත් අවශ්‍යව ඇත්තේ කඩුලු 9ක් පමණයි.

ටෙස්ට් පිටියේ දී දක්වා ඇති දක්ෂතාවලට අමතරව ඔහු එංගලන්තය වෙනුවෙන් එක්දින තරග 194 කදී කඩුලු 269 ක් ද, විස්සයි 20 තරග 19කදී කඩුලු 18 ක් ද දවා ගැනීමට සමත්ව තිබුණා.
