2024 ලංකා ප්‍රිමියර් ලීග් ක්‍රිකට් තරගාවලියේ සන්නාම තානාපතිවරයා ලෙස ඔස්ට්‍රේලියානු හිටපු ක්‍රිකට් නායක මයිකල් ක්ලාක් පත් කර තිබෙනවා.
ඔස්ට්‍රේලියානු ටෙස්ට් හා එක්දින කණ්ඩායම්වල නායකත්වය දරා ඇති ක්ලාක් 2015 වසරේ පැවැති එක්දින ලෝක කුසලාන ක්‍රිකට් තරගාවලියේ ශූරතාවය දිනා ගැනීම සදහා ද සිය කණ්ඩායම මෙහෙයවනු ලැබුවා.
LPL තරගාවලියේ තානාපතිවරයෙකු ලෙස පත් වීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් මයිකල් ක්ලාක් මෙලෙස අදහස් පල කළා.

LPL තරගාවලිය ජූලි පළමු වැනිදා සිට ජූලි 21 වැනිදා දක්වා පැවැත්වීමට නියමිත අතර, තරගාවලිය ආරම්භ කරමින් පළමු තරගය පැවැත්වෙන්නේ පසුගියවර ශූරතාවය දිනූ බී ලව් කැන්ඩි කණ්ඩායම හා අනුශූරතාවය දිනූ දඹුල්ල කණ්ඩායම අතරයි.
මෙවර තරගාවලිය සදහා යොදා ගන්නා ක්‍රීඩාංගන සංඛ්‍යාව 3 ක්. ඒ අනුව පළමු තරග පහ මහනුවර පල්ලේකැලේ ක්‍රීඩාංගනයේ දී ද, ඊළග තරග 9 රංගිරි දඹුලු ජාත්‍යන්තර ක්‍රිකට් ක්‍රීඩාංගනයේ දී ද, මූලික වටයේ අවසන් තරග 6 හා අවසන් වටයේ තරග කොළඹ ආර්.ප්‍රේමදාස ක්‍රීඩාංනයේ දී ද පැවැත්වීමට නියමිතව තිබෙනවා.
